Christoph Dahlhausen – Growing Light / Galerie Peripherie, Tübingen

Christoph Dahlhausen has developed a unique sculptural installation for Galerie Peripherie in Tübingen, which extends vertically both from the floor to the ceiling and from the ceiling to the floor. Here, he responds to the scaffolding poles mounted on the ceiling. From here, the artist has developed his first vertical (top-down) light installation.
Visitors will perceive the gallery in a special way. The view from the gallery will – unlike usual – not only allow a view of the art, but also, from an elevated position, a view of the work developing from the ceiling. Another down-to-earth scaffolding light object is placed in correspondence with the vertical part.
In combination and extension with the sculptural settings, Dahlhausen will show individual wall works from the “Bodies” series (car paint on aluminium honeycomb panels) and experimental photographic works.
